The Women Who Read Exhibit was born from my personal collection of paintings and art depicting women and girls reading. The show was established to promote ongoing library programming, and to celebrate literacy and the empowerment of women and girls.

The exhibit featured 15 images of women and girls reading, surrounded by mirrors, placed strategically throughout, so that women and girls could see themselves among the readers. Patrons were encourages to sit in the display and take pictures of themselves enjoying their favorite book. It was an extremely successful FREE event that ran through the month of September 2021.
